It’s been brilliant hanging out with the young people at No.40 this summer! Young people have had a great time in the space, playing games and making new friends. It’s really awesome that we’ve been able to provide something for young people when summer can start to feel like it’s a long time away from your friends.
We’ve been able to use the space for all kinds of creative activities – from mini golf to domino runs, origami to making dessert pizzas! Young people from different backgrounds have been able to come along and join in with what we’ve got going on.
It has been really encouraging to see young people making new friends, getting to know each other during the activities and forming a little community. We’re excited to see these friendships grow as drop-ins begin again this term!
