Higher Cambs Administrator Vacancy

Cambridge & District Youth for Christ wishes to appoint a part-time, 7.5 hours per week, Higher Cambs Administrator.

Would you like to be part of a visionary team looking to see a culture-changing number of young people following Jesus, and supporting the largest youth mission in this area for a generation? Are you able to provide administrative support to a team spread across Cambridgeshire, taking meeting notes, communicating via email and phone, and following up team members to ensure actions are completed on time?

The successful applicant will be able to complete a range of tasks as directed, manage their own time and commitments well, and have good IT and communication skills. 7.5 hours per week, flexible, for a salary in the range £3,260 to £3,620.

Volunteer Vacancy – Office Manager

Do you want to help make a difference in the lives of local young people? Cambridge & District YFC are seeking a part time Office Manager to join our growing team. We are looking for someone with a lively Christian faith. This is a voluntary position (all reasonable working expenses will be paid.) The role is 12 hours per week to be worked during normal office hours. Event Volunteers

The work that we do wouldn’t be possible without a dedicated team of volunteers who offer their time and skills to Cambridge YFC at events through stewarding, catering, first aid, driving and other roles. We’re looking for people who would be willing to volunteer to help at these events – whether you can offer a couple of hours once or twice a year or more. Trustee

We are looking for a volunteer to join our executive committee. You will be a committed Christian, a member of the local church and enthusiastic about youth ministry. You will have skills or experience in an area relevant to our work and governance. We meet six times a year to oversee the work, and annually for an AGM. yfcone volunteer (gap year)

Aged between 18 and 25? Want to take 3, 6, or 10 months out to develop your gifts and be used by God? Join us. As a yfcone volunteer based in Cambridge you’ll be serve alongside a church based youthworker, helping to make disciples. You’ll also join our team for a series of significant mission events serving the city. St John’s Church, Waterbeach – Children and Families Minister (28 hours per week)

St John’s Church, Waterbeach is seeking a Children and Families Minister to be a passionate champion of mission and evangelism in the flourishing and growing community of Waterbeach.

We are a missional church, firmly rooted in the community and committed to sharing the love of Christ beyond our walls. Waterbeach is developing within the existing community and is planned to grow substantially to the north of the village from 2019.
