Some important changes are taking place here at Cambridge & District Youth for Christ.

On 1st September 2025, after 19 years in the role, Jim Overton will be passing on the leadership of the Centre to Mark Watson.
Mark is an experienced youth worker, having served as our Director of Ministry since 2021. Mark first joined the team in 2008 on a ‘gap year’ and went on to study Theology at Cambridge University, before entering full-time youth ministry.
Jim will remain on the team in a supportive role for the rest of the year before setting out on a new ministry adventure with his wife Hannah in 2026.
On Saturday October 11th, we will be hosting a special event to share the future vision for the work at a key moment for our Centre. You are invited to join us for an evening of worship, vision sharing, commissioning of Mark Watson as our new Centre Director, hearing from our guest speaker Rev Dr Cris Rogers and time to catch up with one another over refreshments.
