The work that we do wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated team of volunteers. Could you join them?
We’re looking for Christian volunteers to help us create safe spaces for young people that promote positive wellbeing, build healthy relationships and share the love of Jesus. Volunteers will have a heart for young people, be willing to listen, and be able to serve consistently as part of a team.
We currently have opportunities to serve on our secondary school mentoring and open-access drop-in teams:
- Mentoring This is a weekly term-time commitment Wednesdays, 9.45-12.30 or Thursdays, 10.00-12.45
- Drop-In This is a regular term-time commitment Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursdays, 3.00-6.00 or Wednesdays 2.30-5.30
All prospective volunteers will be safely recruited and appropriately trained for their roles. If you or someone in your church would like to explore volunteering with us, we would love to hear from you.
Training
We’ll be running training for mentoring volunteers on Friday 25th September. All are welcome and no previous experience of mentoring is necessary. If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Mentor with Cambridge Youth for Christ, this is the perfect way to find out more.
Join us we think about how to:
– promote positive wellbeing
– build healthy relationships and
– share the love of Jesus
in a secondary school context.
Hear what our volunteers have to say….
