Go Insane for Young People and YFC!

You’re invited to take part in an Insane Terrain Family Fun Day and to help YFC take good news to every young person in the process.

What is Insane Terrain?

Insane Terrain Running are hosting a Family Fun Day which offers a 3km Obstacle course for people aged 6 years and over. It’s messy, inspiring and a whole lot of fun.

You will wade through water and crawl through mud, negotiate obstacles and climb walls – with a MAIZE MAZE to get lost in too! Focussed on fun rather than speed, the course is not timed so if you wish to know your race time, please wear a stop watch.

All participants will collect an Insane Terrain Running  medal on completion of the race. There will be a photographer on site capturing all the action on the day.

Where is it happening?

Insane Terrain takes place at Washbrook Farm in Doddington, Cambridgeshire. Equipped with parking, toilets, refreshments and camping all available on site, this venue makes for the perfect day out for everyone.

All children (6 – 12 years) must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany a maximum of one child. Children between the ages of 13 years – 17 years must have a parental consent form completed.

Why Insane?

Sometimes the journey of young people is an incredible roller coaster. In fact, life for todays teenagers is perhaps more challenging now than at any time in history. And that makes our work challenging too. We sometimes feel like we’re on Insane Terrain as we seek to make a lasting difference to this generation. There may come a day when the church gives up on young people, but that is not today. And God is faithful. We will reap a harvest at the proper time if we do not give up. So please stand with us, and support the work by taking part.

How Can I Take Part?

All you have to do to be part of this adventure is to register using the Book Now link below. Pay just £10 for the experience which includes your entry fee for Insane Terrain, a lunch bag for all participants, and a souvenir t-shirt.

How do I collect Sponsors?

We are asking all participants to find Sponsors for our Insane Terrain challenge! Simply set up your personal fundraising page on our Team Site at just giving. Tell your friends, spread the word on social media and help to support our vital work.

What are we aiming for?

Our aim is that Insane Terrain will raise a whopping £3000 to help us take good news relevantly to young people in Cambridge & District. You can set your own personal target too, and we’ll all work together to hit the total. If you need help in setting this up contact us.  If we hit that, we could even aim to beat the 2016 total of £3936!! Why think small?
